ECM Investment Management
Some History About ECM
ECM's clients are here for the long term. Many clients have been here as long as 20 and 30 years.
ECM has been featured in several national newspaper articles over the years. Many articles/interviews appeared in the National Educator newspaper, and several articles/interviews were in a Dow Jones publication called the Wall Street transcript. Our most recent interview was in Barron’s financial newspaper last year.

Some of the more prominent events that have taken place in ECM’s 30+ year history:
One of the Stockholm, Sweden mutual funds performed a manager search throughout the United States; spending over 3 weeks interviewing many U.S. investment managers and selected ECM as their Large Cap Equity manager.
Recommendation from the International Harry Schultz Letter in Amsterdam. They reviewed our investment policies and returns for many years. Their recommendation to their readers worldwide resulted in ECM opening many new client accounts; such a China-based automobile company and a major insurance company and a law firm in Alaska.
The founder of Value Line publications visited ECM to find out why our client portfolios were outperforming other managers. Having been impressed about the firm’s policies and investment returns, this resulted in the signing of a contract for ECM to help them manage their California-based assets.
Many clients have come to ECM from all walks of life, and have been with us for many years; including Senior Advisor to the President of the United States, CEOs of corporations, 401/k plans, attorneys, physicians, unions, athletes, movie producers, and successful entrepreneurs.
Over the years, we have found that clients stay at ECM because we have an investment policy of not only doing well, but working to protect assets during periods of adversity. Almost no other investment advisory firm we know works as hard to protect client assets.
